The Gallagher family approached GTLux Interiors with a desire to completely reimagine their living room — transforming it from a dated, underutilized space into the vibrant heart of their home. They wanted a room that combined modern sophistication with family-friendly comfort, suitable for entertaining guests while also being perfect for cozy evenings.

Our vision was to create a harmonious balance of light, texture, and function. We introduced a soft, neutral base accented with deep navy and warm gold tones for an elevated yet inviting feel. The open layout was enhanced by strategic furniture placement, ensuring fluid movement and optimal space utilization.

Innovative Features:

Smart Home Integration: Voice-controlled lighting and entertainment systems.

Custom-Built Media Wall: Featuring recessed shelving, hidden wiring, and an electric fireplace for a clean, contemporary look.

Layered Lighting Design: Combination of recessed LEDs, a statement chandelier, and adjustable floor lamps for mood versatility.

Challenges & Solutions:

The room’s limited natural light posed a challenge, so we incorporated reflective surfaces, strategically placed mirrors, and a carefully chosen color palette to brighten the space. The result is a room that feels airy and spacious, even on Dublin’s cloudiest days.
